About the Role
You will own the production system for power generation, from module fabrication through field installation and energization. You will establish manufacturing standards, takt time, line balance, quality controls, and supplier improvement processes. You will lead field kaizen efforts, reduce rework, maintain change control, and coach engineers, site leads, and contractors in A3 problem solving.
Requirements
- Experience running a production system based on the Toyota Production System or a direct derivative
- Experience setting takt time, balancing production lines, and maintaining standard work through demand ramps
- Experience reducing cycle time or defect rates
- Experience enforcing production standards, including stopping work when necessary
- Experience developing suppliers and improving incoming quality
- Experience teaching A3 problem solving and kaizen methods

Responsibilities
- Own the production system from module fabrication through field installation and energization
- Set takt time and line balance for module and skid manufacturing
- Improve field installation rates and reduce rework through kaizen events and value stream mapping
- Develop supplier quality through process audits, error-proofing, and joint improvement work
- Incorporate improvements into standard designs through change control
- Coach engineers, site leads, and contractors in A3 problem solving
