- 10+ years of experience in hardware manufacturing and production.
- Expertise in mechanical assembly, electrical integration, sealing, torque tools, testing, troubleshooting, and quality control methods.
- Manufacturing engineering fundamentals, data-driven root cause analysis, and process improvement skills.
- Experience with 3D and 2D CAD, GD&T, and SPC.
- Ability to execute hands-on engineering tasks independently.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong English communication skills; Mandarin is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours and schedules as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide design teams with manufacturability, assembly, testing, and tooling input.
- Apply DFM/DFA principles and resolve manufacturability issues before production release.
- Define assembly sequences, work instructions, tooling requirements, and critical process and quality parameters.
- Validate manufacturing processes before production release.
- Lead manufacturing readiness for product launches, upgrades, and component changes.
- Support tooling and equipment specification, validation, commissioning, and production ramp-up.
- Incorporate safety, quality, resource utilization, and preventive-maintenance requirements into process and equipment design.
- Synchronize priorities with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Investigate manufacturing defects and process failures and implement corrective actions.
- Track improvements in yield, cycle time, and cost.
- Assess engineering-change impacts and update process documentation and tooling.
- Track risk-mitigation actions through implementation.
Benefits
- Stock options/equity programs.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance.
- 401(k) plan.
- Visa sponsorship and green card support for qualified candidates.
