About the Role
You will act as a customer-facing technical expert for simulation, synthetic environment, and AI-enabled mission-system capabilities. You will support discovery, briefings, demonstrations, proposals, and capture activities. You will translate customer needs into feasible solutions, develop technical sales materials, explain advanced simulation systems, and ensure customer-facing information accurately represents current capabilities and constraints.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in modeling and simulation, training systems, test and evaluation, image-generation systems, synthetic environments, defense software, aerospace systems, solutions engineering, or related customer-facing technical roles
- Hands-on experience with advanced defense simulation, training, test, or synthetic battlespace environments
- Experience with image-generation systems, platform-in-a-box systems, synthetic environments, threat models, constructive entities, sensor simulation, scenario generation, or LVC environments
- Understanding of simulation use in operational training, mission rehearsal, experimentation, test and evaluation, and capability development
- Experience with customer-facing technical engagements, proposals, integration discussions, technical interchange meetings, or operational workshops
- Ability to translate customer requirements and technical constraints into feasible solutions
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work from or regularly support activities in Melbourne, Australia
- Professional fluency in English
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
Responsibilities
- Serve as a customer-facing technical expert for simulation, synthetic environments, and AI-enabled mission systems
- Support customer discovery, briefings, demonstrations, technical interchange meetings, RFIs, RFPs, proposals, white papers, and capture activities
- Translate mission needs, training objectives, test requirements, and integration considerations into solution concepts
- Explain image-generation systems, synthetic environments, threat models, LVC architectures, sensor simulation, and scenario generation
- Develop capability briefs, demo scripts, solution templates, FAQs, white papers, and customer-specific briefing materials
- Represent customer requirements, risks, roadmap gaps, and field feedback
- Ensure customer-facing materials accurately reflect capabilities, constraints, timing, and integration considerations
- Build relationships with technical, operational, acquisition, and partner stakeholders
- Travel internationally for customer engagements, demonstrations, exercises, and internal meetings
