About the Role
You will work on-site with customers to deploy, integrate, and develop autonomy software applications. You will provide technical support and training, troubleshoot software and API integrations, contribute to pre-sales and post-sales work, maintain technical materials, and share customer feedback to improve products. This role involves frequent international travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field and 7+ years of industry experience, or a Master’s degree and 5+ years of industry experience.
- Software engineering background.
- Modern C++ proficiency.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in defense, aviation, autonomy, or robotics is preferred.
- Experience as a customer-facing solutions engineer, applications engineer, or sales engineer is preferred.
- Experience in a startup-like environment is preferred.
- An advanced technical degree, especially in robotics or autonomy, is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deploy on-site with customers to support software integration and development.
- Become an expert user of the Hivemind enterprise software stack and autonomy modules.
- Provide customer technical support and training.
- Develop AI and autonomy applications using the enterprise software development kit.
- Assist sales with pre-sales activities.
- Support post-sales deployment and integration.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
- Debug software and API integration issues.
- Address customer feedback with the product engineering team.
