About the Role

You will conduct sustainment decision analysis for fielded aircraft systems. You will build fleet-readiness and lifecycle-cost models, analyze maintenance and logistics data, develop repair and provisioning recommendations, evaluate support-capability investments, and translate results into decision-ready recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Data Analytics, a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, sustainment, logistics, supportability, maintenance, operations research, fleet operations, aviation sustainment, defense logistics, or complex hardware-support environments
  • Experience using operational data to develop quantitative recommendations for readiness, repair capability, logistics, labor, capacity, cost, and performance
  • Experience performing repair-versus-replace, make-versus-buy, repair-capability, or comparable sustainment trade studies
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, R, MATLAB, or comparable tools
  • Ability to integrate technical, operational, supply-chain, labor, and financial inputs into data-driven recommendations
  • Cross-functional collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Own sustainment decision analysis for fielded aircraft systems
  • Build and maintain fleet-readiness and availability models
  • Develop repair-versus-replace and repair-network business cases
  • Analyze maintenance, repair, supply, labor, and fleet operations data
  • Develop demand forecasts, spares recommendations, and provisioning strategies
  • Perform manpower, workload, capacity, and skill-mix analyses
  • Evaluate support-equipment, tooling, facility, and repair-capability investments
  • Develop lifecycle-cost models and economic trade studies
  • Apply statistical, sensitivity, and scenario analyses
  • Create decision packages, briefings, and action plans
  • Establish repeatable sustainment analytics processes
