About the Role
You will create and maintain control and autonomy algorithms in the VBAT codebase. You will work across algorithm development, software design and coding, unit and component testing, flight-software qualification, flight-test support, and simulation-model validation. You will develop solutions for unmanned aerial systems and robotics control applications.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years with a Master’s degree, or a PhD
- Proven record of shipping products through development cycles
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with control systems for unmanned aerial systems and/or robotics
- Experience with outer-loop path planning and trajectory synthesis
- Experience integrating software in a hierarchical environment
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain control and autonomy algorithms in the VBAT codebase
- Develop algorithms and software

- Support flight-software qualification and flight testing
- Update and validate simulation models
- Develop outer-loop path planning and trajectory synthesis
