About the Role
You will develop and execute integration and flight-test plans across simulation, SIL, HIL, ground, and flight environments. You will coordinate test readiness, define objectives and success criteria, support flight activities and data analysis, evaluate results, and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 6+ years with a Master's degree
- Experience planning, conducting, and evaluating flight tests of aircraft systems in military or defense aviation environments
- Knowledge of safety-of-flight principles, risk management, aircraft performance, flight operations, and environmental effects
- Experience with system-level verification and validation across SIL, HIL, simulation, and flight
- Experience collaborating across software, hardware, avionics, systems engineering, safety, and program teams
- Experience using scripting or software tools for test automation, data analysis, or system validation
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
- U.S. citizenship
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integration and flight-test plans
- Coordinate readiness of simulation environments, laboratories, aircraft, and test assets
- Develop safe and operationally relevant test plans
- Define test objectives, performance metrics, success criteria, and traceability
- Lead and support aircraft integration and flight-test activities
- Coordinate with platform OEMs, government ranges, and flight operations personnel
- Coordinate cross-functional test execution
- Evaluate test results and recommend corrective actions
