About the Role
You will serve as the senior technical operations resource for the SiteOps organization, owning Tier 2 and Tier 3 hardware escalations across GPU data center sites. You will troubleshoot complex platform issues, work with OEM and ODM engineering teams, develop operational standards and runbooks, train technicians, support new site bring-ups, and provide platform health and escalation reporting.
Requirements
- 7+ years in data center operations, field engineering, or OEM/ODM technical support with hands-on GPU infrastructure experience
- Hands-on experience deploying and supporting GPU platforms at scale
- Familiarity with SuperMicro and HPE platforms
- Deep familiarity with server platform architecture and OEM escalation and RMA processes
- Experience leading or contributing to large-scale GPU cluster bring-ups
- Experience building technical relationships with OEM and ODM engineering teams
- Experience developing SOPs, runbooks, or field troubleshooting procedures
- Experience delivering technical training to data center technician teams
- Strong written communication skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 30%
- Familiarity with ASUS or Quanta platforms, liquid-cooled GPU platforms, or AMD Instinct GPUs is preferred
Responsibilities
- Own Tier 2 and Tier 3 hardware escalations across Crusoe sites
- Travel to sites for complex platform issues, hardware bring-ups, and deployment support
- Identify recurring failure patterns and translate them into platform improvements
- Root-cause PCIe, BMC, thermal, and fabric hardware issues
- Prepare documented escalation packages for internal engineering teams
- Develop technical relationships with OEM and ODM partners
- Represent Crusoe in OEM and ODM technical discussions
- Support vendor evaluations and new platform qualifications
- Maintain platform escalation playbooks, runbooks, and troubleshooting procedures
- Design and deliver technical training for SiteOps technicians
- Contribute to technician certification and technical leveling standards
- Support new site bring-up and platform deployment execution
- Represent SiteOps in platform, engineering, and procurement discussions
- Partner on sparing strategy, RMA management, and support contracts
- Provide input into next-generation GPU platform evaluations
- Produce escalation reporting and platform health analysis
