About the Role
Define Android technical direction, build scalable mobile experiences with Kotlin and modern Android technologies, lead complex initiatives, shape roadmaps, establish engineering standards, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional Android development experience
- Experience leading large-scale or technically complex mobile initiatives
- Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java
- Expertise in Android SDK fundamentals
- Experience with MVVM and other architecture patterns
- Experience with Jetpack Compose
- Experience with Coroutines and Flow or RxJava
- Experience with Retrofit and Room
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Experience leading through ambiguity and driving architecture across multiple projects
- Experience mentoring senior engineers
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical direction for Android experiences
- Build intuitive, elegant, and reliable mobile systems
- Lead complex initiatives from strategy through launch and long-term evolution
- Partner with product, design, backend engineering, and data science
- Shape roadmaps and influence product decisions
- Establish engineering standards, architecture patterns, and development practices
- Mentor engineers and drive design reviews
- Unblock critical technical decisions
