About the Role
You will build and launch the native Android application, define its architecture and engineering standards, and own major features through iteration. You will create reliable mobile experiences, integrate backend services, establish scalable foundations, work with customers, and mentor future Android engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience
- Experience building and launching Android applications
- Kotlin proficiency
- Jetpack Compose proficiency
- Android SDK proficiency
- Android architecture and lifecycle-management knowledge
- Kotlin coroutines and Flow experience
- Concurrency, threading, and performance-optimization knowledge
- Experience designing reusable and testable components
- Knowledge of reliability, security, privacy, and production readiness
Responsibilities
- Build and launch the native Android application
- Define application architecture, technical stack, and engineering patterns
- Establish standards for testing, security, performance, observability, releases, and code quality
- Partner with product and design on AI-native mobile workflows
- Own features from research and technical design through launch and iteration
- Integrate AI-platform and backend services
- Build reusable foundations for the application and future team
- Work with customers to incorporate feedback
- Help hire and mentor Android engineers
