About the Role

You will own transistor-level SerDes transmit and receive datapath designs through silicon characterization. You will develop equalization, link modeling, verification, layout, package co-design, and testboard solutions for next-generation interconnects.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of hands-on analog and mixed-signal circuit design experience
• Experience owning a SerDes transmit or receive datapath block through working silicon
• Knowledge of high-speed driver design, receive front-end design, and equalization
• Experience with jitter and noise analysis
• Experience with FinFET or GAA process nodes
• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Monte Carlo analysis, corner analysis, post-layout simulation, MATLAB, Python, and S-parameter models
• Silicon bring-up and bench-debug experience with scopes and BERTs

Responsibilities

• Design SerDes transmit-path circuits including output drivers, pre-drivers, serializers, and transmit-side FFE
• Design receive front-end circuits including termination networks, CTLEs, VGAs, samplers, and ADC-based front ends
• Design and verify DFE and FFE equalization paths
• Derive block specifications from link budgets
• Develop verification environments and behavioral models
• Perform link and channel modeling
• Drive layout and package co-design
• Contribute to testboard design and silicon characterization
