About the Role
You will reconcile daily trading income and report firm P&L to senior management and ownership. You will support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes for global entities; prepare trader P&L statements; resolve trader queries; and participate in annual audits and tax processes for US entities. You will work with financial accounting and shared services teams to support business funding and improve the trader experience, while leading ad hoc projects and identifying process improvements.
Requirements
- Experience applying AI/ML tools to generate data-driven insights and automation.
- Critical thinking skills to identify problems and execute resolutions.
- A process-driven, continuous-improvement mindset.
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work for internal and external stakeholders.
- A BSc or MSc in Accounting, Business, or a related field, with a solid academic record.
- Commitment to completing a professional accounting qualification if not already qualified.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Index-Match, macros, and Pivot Tables.
Responsibilities
- Execute T+1 daily trading income reconciliations and report firm P&L to senior management and ownership.
- Engage in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes for global entities.
- Generate trader P&L statements and address related trader queries.
- Participate in annual audits and tax processes across US entities.
- Collaborate with the financial accounting team to support efficient business funding.
- Partner with shared services teams to improve the trader experience.
- Lead ad hoc and special projects as assigned.
