About the Role

You will shape AlphaSense's approach to new content generation and integration, bringing deep knowledge of capital markets and investment research together with experience building and managing financial content and AI-powered investment analysis workflows. You'll become a use case expert across major user personas, spot high-impact opportunities for new AI-driven functionality and data sets, and decide whether to license from vendors or self-source. You'll build rapid prototypes to demonstrate value and cost/complexity trade-offs, then take full ownership of strategic content initiatives from sourcing analysis through business case development, cross-functional execution, KPI design, launch support, and roadmap management. Beyond your own initiatives, you'll advise other product managers and content leads on best practices for content creation, curation, metadata strategy, and AI workflow orchestration, track competitive and industry trends, and help scale the team's ability to prototype and experiment with AI workflows.

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience at a leading financial institution or investment research platform firm as a Product or Content Manager
• 5+ years managing a large, globally distributed content generation operation
• Expert knowledge of market data and investment research databases, products, and tools (e.g. Fundamentals, Estimates, M&A Transactions data, Ownership data, Market data, Excel plug-in, XML feeds)
• Demonstrated ability to lead a dedicated cross-functional development team of engineers, data experts, QA, scrum master
• Thorough understanding of relational and JSON databases, with demonstrated experience preferred
• BSc/MSc in engineering, finance, economics, or related field
• Deep passion for corporate finance, capital markets, and investment research
• AI expertise gained from a buy-side/sell-side firm or through deploying and managing products and data for investment professionals
• Track record of leveraging NLP, machine learning, and generative AI
• Experience building, launching, and managing a marquee product or running a large content generation operation
• Ability to thrive in high-paced, high-growth environments with strong multi-tasking abilities
• Excellent presentation and ability to influence executives and align cross-functional stakeholders
• Front-office background (research analyst, investment banker) preferred
• Experience at a market intelligence or financial research SaaS startup preferred
• Agile/iterative development methodology experience preferred
• Experience with distributed teams preferred
• CFA certification preferred
