About the Role
You will define and lead sourcing and supplier-management strategies for contract manufacturing partners supporting AI infrastructure platforms. You will build and mentor a sourcing team, develop supplier and commodity strategies, negotiate strategic agreements, create cost models, plan capacity, mitigate risks, and drive supplier performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related technical discipline
- Experience in technical and commercial sourcing
- Experience sourcing within contract manufacturing ecosystems
- Experience negotiating multi-year strategic supplier agreements
- Financial acumen
- Cost modeling
- Total cost of ownership analysis
- Executive communication
- Stakeholder engagement
- Experience with contract manufacturing ecosystems supporting hyperscale infrastructure
- Experience in AI infrastructure, semiconductor, or cloud hardware environments
- Relationships with electronics manufacturing service providers
- Experience structuring joint development agreements and strategic manufacturing partnerships
- Experience in rapidly scaling infrastructure environments
Responsibilities
- Define the end-to-end sourcing strategy for contract manufacturing partners
- Build, lead, and mentor a sourcing team
- Develop and execute multi-year supplier and commodity strategies
- Lead executive-level negotiations for long-term agreements and capacity reservations
- Drive alignment across Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal
- Influence supplier and manufacturing partner roadmaps
- Develop cost models and implement should-cost frameworks
- Ensure supply continuity through capacity planning and risk mitigation
- Conduct executive supplier business reviews
- Ensure supplier agreements protect strategic and operational interests
