About the Role

You will source materials, equipment, and services for data center, power generation, innovation, and corporate projects. You will request and evaluate supplier proposals, identify and pre-qualify suppliers, manage procurement workflows, build supplier relationships, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and communicate project progress and challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in direct procurement roles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience with Coupa, Ironclad, or Jira is a bonus
  • Experience with procure-to-pay processes is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Request quotes for major equipment and services from suppliers
  • Prepare bid summaries and provide award recommendations
  • Locate and pre-qualify potential suppliers
  • Manage procurement activities in internal systems
  • Create Jira tickets and assist with purchase order approvals
  • Communicate process changes and approvals to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, legal stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Communicate project progress and challenges to stakeholders
