About the Role

Lead strategic sourcing for AI infrastructure commodities and suppliers, managing supplier relationships, negotiations, cost models, supplier performance, and supply chain risk while partnering with technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or supply chain roles in technology, infrastructure, electronics, or hardware environments
  • Knowledge of AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, servers, networking, storage, or related hardware ecosystems
  • Experience leading supplier negotiations, commercial agreements, and sourcing projects
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, including cost modelling, pricing analysis, and total cost of ownership methodologies
  • Experience managing supplier performance and improving cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity
  • Ability to assess technical requirements and collaborate with engineering and product development teams
  • Strong project management, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with infrastructure hardware, compute platforms, data centers, cloud infrastructure, manufacturing, supplier risk management, business continuity, responsible sourcing, or sustainability is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Own sourcing strategy development and execution
  • Lead supplier identification, qualification, RFQ/RFP management, commercial evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation
  • Develop supplier relationships and drive performance across cost, quality, delivery, capacity, and responsiveness
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, technology roadmaps, manufacturing readiness, and scalability
  • Build cost models, benchmark analyses, and total cost of ownership assessments
  • Drive supplier performance management through reviews, scorecards, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through diversification, contingency planning, and business continuity strategies
  • Monitor industry trends, supplier landscapes, component availability, and market dynamics
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Quality, Operations, Engineering, Product, and Manufacturing
  • Report supplier performance, commercial opportunities, sourcing risks, and mitigation plans to leadership
