About the Role
You will own the design and maintenance of encoding libraries and developer-facing APIs. You will run structured-data experiments, design robust abstractions, adapt libraries for new research directions, ship ideas to production, and optimize encoding performance across dependent systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience maintaining libraries, SDKs, or developer-facing APIs
- Familiarity with machine learning terminology and LLM architecture
- Experience carrying out complex refactors in large codebases
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work closely with researchers and engineers
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve encoding libraries
- Run experiments on feeding structured data into Claude
- Design data structures and abstractions for encoded data
- Adapt encoding libraries for emerging research directions
- Ship research ideas to production
