Required and preferred rules are kept separate and reflect the wording in the original posting.

About the Role

You will design and develop test frameworks and test cases for NPU software and hardware solutions. You will automate execution environments, collect and evaluate results, maintain reusable test libraries, diagnose failures, manage releases, and support validation and production users.

Requirements

  • Ability to design, develop, analyze, modify, and maintain programs using Python or similar programming languages.
  • Ability to implement product requirements and test documents as executable test cases with clear result-verification logic.
  • Ability to work with processes, files, permissions, device state, and logs in Linux.
  • Understanding of the roles and interactions of SDKs, runtimes, drivers, and firmware.
  • Ability to write stable code with environment preparation, resource management, exception handling, and cleanup.
  • Ability to structure logs and test results with execution conditions and version information.
  • Experience using source-control tools such as Git, code review, change-history management, and user documentation.
  • Ability to clarify requirements with validation and development stakeholders and resolve test-code and framework issues.

Responsibilities

  • Translate product requirements, developer guides, and release changes into executable validation designs.
  • Develop test cases for normal, exceptional, boundary, recovery, long-duration, and regression scenarios.
  • Build test-framework capabilities for registration, selection, execution, setup, cleanup, resource management, timeouts, and error handling.
  • Automate board and server preparation, software installation and updates, environment checks, and version checks.
  • Collect functional results, performance and power metrics, system state, and logs in JSON or CSV formats.
  • Implement result-evaluation logic and diagnostics that distinguish product failures from environment or framework errors.
  • Maintain test code, shared libraries, deployment versions, dependencies, settings, documentation, and operational support.
