About the Role
You will build and maintain full-stack applications and infrastructure for experiments, feedback collection, and result analysis. You will partner with researchers, design accessible interfaces, create reusable platforms, prototype quickly, own product areas, shape technical strategy, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development
- Experience building tools, platforms, or infrastructure for technical users
- Ability to rapidly iterate and ship prototypes
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
- Strong product instincts
- Proficiency with modern web technologies including React, TypeScript, and Python
- Experience building user-facing applications
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack research applications and infrastructure
- Partner with research teams to translate workflows and pain points into technical solutions
- Design intuitive interfaces and abstractions for research tasks
- Create reusable platforms and tools for research applications
- Prototype and iterate using user feedback
- Own product areas from user discovery through ongoing iteration
- Contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions
- Mentor engineers and establish development best practices
