About the Role

You will build and support web applications, backend services, data models, and EHR integrations for VA care teams. You will make architectural decisions, improve system performance and security, reduce technical debt, and work with clinical, technical, and security stakeholders in a compliant federal environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building, shipping, and operating web applications at scale
• Experience leading a major software-platform component, subsystem, or platform
• Experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, React, and Google Cloud Platform
• Experience using AI coding agents and tools for software development

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support web applications, front-end features, backend services, and data models
• Make technology decisions that protect security, privacy, and quality
• Enhance systems for functionality, performance, stability, quality, and security
• Improve the codebase and limit technical debt
• Maintain a user-centric mindset
• Communicate with cross-functional product delivery teams
• Integrate with VA systems including VistA and Oracle Health/Cerner
• Deliver solutions in a secure, compliant federal environment
