About the Role
You will own features from scoping through production monitoring, working across web platforms, mobile applications, and services. You will build robust solutions with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and modern runtime services. You will use AI tools to improve development workflows, collaborate with product, design, and editorial stakeholders, and implement safe releases, CI/CD, observability, security, and feature-flag rollouts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production software delivery experience
- Expertise in Next.js, React, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Experience with RESTful APIs and content management platforms
- Advanced knowledge of server-side rendering, caching, and Core Web Vitals optimization
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Playwright and Maestro
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and applying security best practices
- Experience integrating Auth0 across client and server applications
- Strong communication skills with non-engineering stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Own features across the complete product lifecycle from scoping through production monitoring
- Architect and ship functionality across web platforms, mobile applications, and services
- Build solutions using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and modern runtime services
- Use AI tools to design, build, and optimize software
- Develop internal tooling for editorial, design, and product workflows
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and editorial stakeholders
- Implement progressive rollouts with feature flags
- Build automated CI/CD pipelines and observability practices
- Deploy frequently while minimizing release risk
