About the Role
You build and operate backend features for fiat and stablecoin payment flows and the Public API. You collaborate on requirements architecture and scalable financial systems while writing maintainable tested code. You monitor production systems support merchant integrations investigate issues and work with frontend engineers to integrate backend services.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of backend engineering experience
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails Golang or related backend technologies
- Strong SQL and relational database design knowledge
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of system design and scalable systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD and Git
- Good written and spoken English
- Financial systems payments or fintech experience is a plus
- Crypto stablecoin or blockchain experience is a plus
- Agile delivery experience is a plus
- React TypeScript or JavaScript familiarity is a plus
Responsibilities
- Build backend features for fiat and stablecoin payment flows
- Deliver and maintain Public API capabilities
- Collaborate with product managers on requirements and roadmap delivery
- Write clean tested and maintainable code
- Monitor systems and maintain availability and reliability
- Perform stress testing and production maintenance
- Contribute to architecture and data driven tradeoffs
- Participate in code reviews backlog grooming and sprint planning
- Support merchant integrations and L2 investigations
- Integrate backend services with frontend applications
