About the Role

You will define project requirements and milestones, prepare design documentation, and participate in architecture discussions. You will build Go features for an RFQ system supporting governed OTC workflows, surveillance, and settlement. You will add analytics and impact metrics, incorporate feedback, iterate on changes, and present regular demonstrations.

Requirements

  • Be in the class of 2028 and pursue a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in at least one compiled language such as Go, C++, or Java.
  • Have completed at least one previous internship working on backend systems in a production environment, preferably in a user-facing context.
  • Know relational databases such as Postgres as a plus.
  • Have experience with trading systems as a plus.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and convey technical concepts clearly.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Manage tasks autonomously.
  • Be local to the New York City headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Trading team to define project scope, requirements, and milestones.
  • Prepare design documentation.
  • Participate in architectural discussions.
  • Build Go features that enhance the RFQ system and its OTC workflows, surveillance, and settlement capabilities.
  • Add analytics and metrics to measure the impact of changes.
  • Incorporate feedback and iterate based on team input.
  • Demonstrate project progress through regular demos.
