About the Role
You will improve card authorization and transaction experiences by identifying and fixing declines, failed authorizations, stuck holds, and other user friction. You will investigate fraud, query transaction data, build risk rules and monitoring, automate mitigations, and create internal tools, dashboards, and scripts for risk and customer-experience operations.

Responsibilities
- Improve the card transaction experience by eliminating transaction friction
- Identify and fix causes of declines, failed authorizations, and stuck holds
- Improve card-program product issues and ship fixes
- Identify fraud and abuse patterns
- Own fraud rules, queues, and scoring logic in Sardine
- Build real-time monitoring, alerting, and automated mitigation
- Investigate live cases using transaction data
- Propose recurring fraud controls
- Build internal tools, dashboards, and scripts for risk and customer-experience teams
- Work with Product, CX, Compliance, card-program vendors, and fraud vendors
