About the Role
You will develop online and offline localization and SLAM algorithms using camera, LiDAR, IMU, GNSS, and other sensor data. You will validate algorithms on real-world data, improve dynamic mapping and calibration systems, support ground-truth workflows, implement deployment-ready robot code, and maintain documentation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a similar discipline
- At least three years of industry or research experience
- Experience in computer vision, robotics, or autonomous driving
- Experience with visual or LiDAR SLAM, place recognition, structure from motion, filtering, or Bayesian estimation
- Strong knowledge of linear algebra, vector calculus, probability theory, and mathematical optimization
- Production-level modern C++ programming ability
- Python prototyping ability
- Experience deploying SLAM or localization algorithms on hardware platforms
Responsibilities
- Develop online and offline localization and SLAM algorithms
- Fuse data from cameras, LiDAR, IMU, GNSS, and other sensors
- Design, validate, and improve algorithms using real-world data
- Contribute to dynamic environment mapping from robot-deployment data
- Create robust sensor-calibration systems
- Support workflows for ground-truth data and deployment-site maps
- Implement deployment-ready code optimized for robot computational constraints
- Create and maintain documentation and best practices
