About the Role
You will lead US site procurement for data center development, source and evaluate powered land, and negotiate leases. You will conduct site and vendor due diligence, assess permitting and construction schedules, maintain broker and landowner relationships, coordinate technical requirements, forecast capacity, develop investment structures, and lead commercial negotiations.
Requirements
- Real estate experience focused on data centers or large industrial projects
- Experience closing large, complex deals
- Ability to assess land viability for data center development, including power, buildability, and permitting
- Ability to align internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to travel 20% or more as projects require
Responsibilities
- Lead US site procurement for the data center portfolio
- Source and evaluate powered land for large-scale development
- Negotiate leases with data center operators, landowners, and developers
- Conduct utility, power, title, survey, geotechnical, and environmental due diligence
- Assess permitting requirements and construction-schedule implications
- Maintain relationships with brokers, landowners, and developers
- Coordinate site requirements with data center design
- Own capacity planning and forecasting across clients and regions
- Partner on infrastructure investment and cost structures
- Conduct on-site vendor audits
- Travel as projects require
