About the Role
You will support commercial renegotiations for data center projects, maintain negotiation documents and issues lists, draft agreements and notices with counsel, coordinate internal approvals, manage developer communications, track claims and deadlines, visit project sites, and help onboard contract specialists.
Requirements
- Experience carrying complex commercial agreements from term sheet to signature
- Ability to interpret leases, work letters, or construction contracts
- Experience managing challenging counterparty relationships
- Ability to write concise executive approval memos
- Ability to visit construction sites and question management
- Legal or commercial training
Responsibilities
- Manage issues lists and conform parallel negotiation documents
- Draft term sheets, amendments, and formal notices with counsel
- Write internal approval memos and collect approvals
- Manage day-to-day communications with developers and counsel
- Visit project sites and translate construction observations into contract positions
- Own version control, the notice calendar, and the claims register
- Help onboard senior contract specialists
- Travel regularly to US project sites
