About the Role
You will build and lead an SRE function while remaining hands-on in coding, design reviews, and complex investigations. You will set reliability strategy, production-readiness standards, observability and automation practices, incident processes, and mentoring for engineers and leaders.

Responsibilities
- Build and lead a new SRE team while remaining hands-on
- Set technical direction for vehicle software reliability
- Define SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, release criteria, rollback strategies, and fault-injection practices
- Design observability and automation that improve diagnosis and recovery
- Lead complex incident investigations and strengthen on-call and escalation practices
- Mentor engineers and emerging leaders
- Communicate reliability health, risks, and investment needs to senior leadership
