About the Role
You will work across systems engineering and software development to support internal infrastructure and colocation systems. You will build monitoring, packet and flow analysis, configuration management, and automation tooling. You will improve platform quality, resilience, efficiency, alerting, observability, and low-level software performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Python and Go
- Strong Linux experience
- Knowledge of streaming systems architecture and design
- Experience with message and streaming queues such as Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ
- Working knowledge of Rust and C/C++
- Experience with big-data, columnar, and time-series data stores
- Experience with version control and CI/CD systems
- Experience with application deployment management, Kubernetes, pods, and containers
- Proven infrastructure reliability experience
- Reliable and predictable availability
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain systems that manage global infrastructure and colocation operations
- Architect streaming monitoring, packet and flow analysis, configuration management, and automation tooling
- Improve platform quality, efficiency, and resilience
- Design alerting and observability around business and operational requirements
- Debug low-level performance issues in complex software stacks
