About the Role

You will automate and manage the bare-metal server lifecycle, build fleet-management tooling, and standardize software builds, deployments, and rollbacks. You will improve infrastructure security, analyze fleet costs, enhance observability, participate in on-call and incident response, and document operational procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
• Hands-on bare-metal server provisioning and management experience
• Linux fundamentals, including systemd, networking, storage, and performance tuning
• Configuration management and infrastructure-as-code experience
• Scripting or programming ability in Python, Go, Bash, or similar
• Security mindset focused on access, blast radius, and secrets

Responsibilities

• Automate server provisioning, operating-system installation, configuration, hardware validation, and decommissioning
• Build and maintain tooling for engineers to interact with the fleet
• Standardize CI pipelines, artifacts, deployment tooling, and rollbacks
• Execute security roadmap items, including SSO-integrated access, jump hosts, secrets management, least-privilege access, and audit trails
• Analyze fleet costs and provide recommendations on workloads, providers, and hardware refreshes
• Improve infrastructure observability
• Participate in on-call and incident response
• Write runbooks and documentation
