About the Role
You will build and maintain Kubernetes control planes, operators, controllers, and lifecycle automation. You will develop GPU-aware orchestration and inference services, partner on networking solutions, create deployment tools, design resilient distributed systems, and support production systems through an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes controllers, schedulers, operators, CRDs, CSI, CNI, and extension patterns
- Knowledge of distributed systems, fault tolerance, graceful degradation, and failure handling
- Experience operating large-scale Kubernetes control planes
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, distributed tracing, and alerting
- Programming skills in Go and Python
- Knowledge of Linux, networking, containers, and cloud infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes control-plane services, operators, and custom controllers
- Develop Go and Python automation for cluster provisioning, upgrades, patching, and deletion
- Build GPU-aware orchestration systems for scheduling and resource allocation
- Partner on CNI integration, high-performance fabrics, RDMA, and GPUDirect networking solutions
- Build resilient systems with failure handling and degraded-mode operation
- Develop inference platform services, autoscaling, and multi-model deployment patterns
- Build internal tools and CLIs for inference-service deployment and monitoring
- Support and debug production issues through on-call rotation
