About the Role
You will lead data center technicians and oversee server and network infrastructure health and performance. You will manage installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, cabling, asset tracking, operational tickets, and hardware intake. You will improve procedures, reduce downtime, coordinate technical work, and provide on-call support for critical events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years of experience with server, storage, compute, and network hardware
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing servers and networking infrastructure
- Leadership experience in a data center or technical operations environment
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to work at elevated heights up to 50 feet
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to complete pre-employment and annual post-employment background checks
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor data center technicians
- Oversee infrastructure installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Manage power cabling, fiber labeling, and hardware decommissioning
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures and safety protocols
- Coordinate hardware intake and repair processes
- Maintain inventory and asset-management records
- Manage Jira operations tickets and documentation
- Design and implement network layouts with cross-functional teams
- Improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime
- Provide on-call support for critical events
