About the Role

You oversee facility personnel and day-to-day operations while maintaining the safety, reliability, and continuous operation of critical infrastructure. You monitor mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste-management systems, manage maintenance and work orders, coordinate with technicians and vendors, troubleshoot networks, operate equipment, and maintain hardware and facilities.

Requirements

  • Technical degree in information technology or equivalent certifications and job experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a critical infrastructure environment
  • Ability to work with a team of technicians in a 24x7 operating environment
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting, HVAC, plumbing, construction, security, and fire protection preferred
  • Experience with IT infrastructure maintenance desired

Responsibilities

  • Oversee facility personnel, hiring, discipline, and employee assessments
  • Manage facility uptime and production performance
  • Manage maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations
  • Implement policies and procedures for buildings, grounds, and equipment
  • Monitor mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste-management systems
  • Track work orders for quality, service standards, and budget adherence
  • Obtain and maintain equipment-operation certifications
  • Communicate with interdepartmental staff
  • Manage relationships with third-party partners and vendors
  • Protect sensitive and confidential information
  • Use power tools, hand tools, ladders, and step stools
  • Use internal software to track, record, communicate, diagnose, and operate hardware
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting, management, and installation
  • Move miners and other equipment weighing up to 55 pounds
  • Operate electrical breakers up to 480V
