About the Role
You will design, extract, and simulate breakout structures and board models for signal and power integrity. You will contribute to packaging signoff, create specifications, review designs, validate hardware, and troubleshoot post-silicon signal and power integrity issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of high-speed digital design experience
- Experience with high-speed PCB or package design at 10 Gbps and above
- Knowledge of high-speed performance metrics including ICR, ERL, COM, NEXT, and FEXT
- Knowledge of high-speed connector technologies including NPO and CPO
- Proficiency with PCB ECAD tools
Responsibilities
- Design, extract, and simulate breakout structures
- Perform end-to-end simulations and validate results against hardware
- Simulate and extract board models for signal and power integrity
- Contribute to ASIC packaging design and signoff
- Create design specifications and work with vendors
- Participate in design reviews
- Support post-silicon bring-up and troubleshoot production and field failures
- Document design processes and share knowledge
