About the Role
You will design, extract, and simulate high-speed PCB structures for production systems and test boards. You will define launches, vias, transmission lines, stack-ups, and materials, then validate designs in the lab through prototype bring-up, debugging, validation, and manufacturing support.
Requirements
- Experience in high-speed digital circuit development
- Signal integrity knowledge
- Power integrity knowledge
- Experience with high-frequency SERDES design and validation
- Experience using ANSYS SIWave, HFSS, Mentor HyperLynx, or similar tools
- Ability to design BGA and connector launches, via structures, and transmission lines for GHz signals
- Hands-on experience with VNAs, high-speed oscilloscopes, and signal generators
- Design, debugging, validation, ownership, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, extract, and simulate PCB structures for production systems and test boards
- Define BGA and connector launches, via structures, transmission lines, stack-ups, and low-loss materials
- Validate high-speed interfaces through simulation and lab testing
- Support designs from concept through prototype bring-up, debugging, validation, and manufacture
- Own signal-integrity decisions across board and package interfaces
- Guide design constraints and resolve performance issues
