About the Role

You will own SI/PI methodology from architecture through release. You will simulate high-speed interfaces, define PCB constraints, maintain models, perform PDN analysis, drive compliance checks, collaborate on design guidelines, debug signal-quality issues, and correlate simulation results with hardware measurements.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
• 5+ years of hands-on SI/PI experience on high-speed designs
• Proficiency with SI/PI EDA tools
• Understanding of transmission-line theory, return loss, insertion loss, crosstalk, eye-diagram analysis, and jitter decomposition
• Experience with PDN modeling, target impedance methodology, and DC IR analysis
• Knowledge of multi-layer PCB stack-up design and controlled-impedance trace routing
• Lab skills using VNA, TDR, BERT, and oscilloscope probing

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-layout signal-integrity simulations for high-speed serial interfaces
• Conduct channel analysis and link-budget calculations
• Define topology, trace geometry, stack-up, and via-optimization guidelines
• Develop and maintain COM, IBIS, S-parameter, and SPICE models
• Execute PDN design and analysis
• Drive SI/PI design-rule checks
• Collaborate to define and review design guidelines
• Support bring-up and debug signal-quality issues
• Maintain simulation-to-hardware correlation databases
