About the Role
You will design, build and maintain front-office trading systems for market data, order management and execution. You will own components from design through deployment and production support, develop venue connectivity and data tooling, and work with traders and quants to deliver robust, high-performance systems.
Requirements
- Commercial software development experience in C++, Java or Rust
- Proficiency in Python for tooling, analysis and automation
- Solid SQL skills, including query design and work with large datasets
- Linux development experience and knowledge of concurrency and data structures
- Understanding of the trading lifecycle and electronic trading systems
- Debugging and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication with technical and trading colleagues
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain front-office trading systems, including market data, order management and execution components
- Write well-tested production code focused on performance, latency and stability
- Build and maintain connectivity to trading venues and market data sources
- Develop analytics, monitoring, reporting and research tooling in Python and SQL
- Translate trading requirements into robust, maintainable systems with traders and quants
- Capture, store and query market and trading time-series data
- Contribute to code reviews, technical design discussions and engineering standards
- Support production systems, diagnose issues and drive root-cause fixes
