About the Role
You will design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable systems. You will lead architectural decisions and complex projects, set engineering standards, improve performance and reliability, mentor engineers, review code, and communicate technical decisions with stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Experience with large-scale systems and application architecture
- Experience with Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript
- Knowledge of Python, Go, Flask, FastAPI, AWS, Angular, and TypeScript
- Understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and DDD
- Experience with cloud technologies, distributed systems, and microservices
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Right to work in the jurisdiction of employment
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable systems
- Define and enforce coding standards, design principles, and development methodologies
- Drive architectural decisions and technical roadmaps
- Lead complex projects from conception through delivery
- Identify technical challenges and mitigate delivery risks
- Own system and application performance, security, and reliability
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
- Provide feedback through code reviews
- Improve engineering practices, tools, processes, and system performance
- Conduct root-cause analysis and drive long-term improvements
- Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic technical decision-making
