About the Role
You will author and maintain technically accurate developer documentation, including API references, SDK guides, tutorials, deployment guides, and release notes. You will validate workflows through hands-on testing, shape documentation strategy and information architecture, gather feedback, and establish clear content standards using modern documentation tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing, developer documentation, or developer education.
- Ability to write for technical audiences about APIs, deployment guides, code examples, and system architecture.
- Experience testing and validating technical documentation.
- Experience with Markdown, Git, Docusaurus, Sphinx, or similar documentation tools.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, curl, or REST clients.
- Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or CLI workflows.
- Ability to understand and test Docker, Kubernetes, and on-premises deployment scenarios.
- Fluent English.
Responsibilities
- Author and maintain documentation for APIs, SDKs, tutorials, deployment guides, and release notes.
- Contribute to documentation strategy and identify content gaps.
- Develop editorial voice, information architecture, and content structures.
- Test APIs, features, and deployment workflows before documenting them.
- Validate documentation by reproducing user workflows.
- Collaborate on technical reviews, design discussions, and release planning.
- Gather feedback to identify documentation pain points.
- Define and enforce documentation standards and terminology.
- Use Markdown, Git, headless CMS, and AI tools to streamline documentation production.
