About the Role
You will lead end-to-end recruiting for mechanical, manufacturing, process, test, and quality engineering roles. You will create competency maps, train interviewers, analyze talent competitors, and manage the staffing agency that supplies hourly contract technicians, including performance standards and retention tracking.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience
- Experience hiring mechanical, manufacturing, or quality engineers in a hardware environment
- Knowledge of tolerance stack-ups, DFM, GD&T, EVT, or PVT
- Staffing agency management experience
- Experience creating competency maps and training interviewers
- Experience using AI tools for sourcing
- Ability to work on a shop floor
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end hiring for mechanical, manufacturing, process, test, and quality engineering
- Create competency maps with hiring managers
- Build interviewer training and calibration for manufacturing and mechanical interviews
- Conduct talent competitor analysis
- Manage the staffing agency for hourly contract technicians
- Negotiate agency rates and define SLAs, scorecards, and quality standards
- Define candidate screening standards, audit agency submissions, and track contractor conversion and retention
