About the Role
You will manage recurring indirect-tax filings, calendars, data packages, notices, registrations, and close support. You will reconcile billing, tax engines, filings, payments, and general-ledger activity and escalate issues early. You will use AI-enabled workflows and data tools to investigate variances and improve work papers and documentation. You will strengthen controls, audit readiness, process documentation, and tax-data handoffs while contributing to income-tax compliance and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 3 years of public accounting or industry tax experience focused on indirect tax compliance and operations
- Experience with U.S. sales and use tax, VAT/GST, business taxes, or other non-income taxes
- Experience preparing reconciliations, journal entries, filings, payments, and audit-ready work papers
- Ability to manage deadlines, investigate exceptions, organize documentation, and escalate issues
- AI fluency for data analysis, variance investigation, documentation, quality checks, or automation
Responsibilities

- Establish reconciliation and exception workflows across billing, tax engines, filings, payments, and the general ledger
- Use AI-enabled workflows and data tools to investigate variances and quality-check work papers
- Strengthen tax controls, documentation, evidence, handoffs, audit support, and SOX readiness
- Partner on tax-related work and contribute to income-tax compliance and reporting
