You will identify critical technologies, develop protection architectures and requirements, conduct threat and trade analyses, support verification, and coordinate protection designs with engineering, suppliers, and government stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of relevant engineering experience in aerospace, defense, embedded systems, systems security engineering, or mission-critical technologies
  • Experience in program protection, anti-tamper engineering, critical-technology protection, or related systems-security engineering
  • Experience developing system-security architectures, technical requirements, engineering design artifacts, and protection implementation approaches
  • Experience with CPI assessments, threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, exploitation-risk assessments, or protection trade studies
  • Understanding of hardware, firmware, embedded software, and system-integration considerations
  • Experience with systems-engineering processes, requirements decomposition, technical-risk management, and verification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and required program access

Responsibilities

  • Lead critical-program-information identification, criticality assessments, and protection strategies
  • Lead anti-tamper threat analysis, protection requirements, architecture development, trade studies, and implementation planning
  • Define and decompose program-protection and anti-tamper requirements
  • Integrate protection measures across aircraft, mission systems, embedded computing, and ground-control systems
  • Develop CPI assessments, Program Protection Implementation Plans, Anti-Tamper Plans, and engineering documentation
  • Evaluate protection alternatives for effectiveness, feasibility, cost, performance, complexity, and residual risk
  • Develop protection-verification criteria and support laboratory and integration testing
  • Provide technical leadership at engineering milestones
  • Coordinate with government authorities, suppliers, and engineering teams to resolve risks
