About the Role

You will improve a self-driving simulator and its scalability at large scale. You will design orchestration software across autonomy, actor models, and sensor simulation; collaborate on architecture; improve internal workflows; establish development patterns; and lead cross-functional technical projects.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree, or bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience with backend technologies and languages including Rust, C++, or Python
• Experience developing and maintaining production-quality software
• Linux or Unix experience
• Understanding of test-driven and API-driven development
• Experience designing interfaces between systems
• Experience with multithreaded system design, algorithms, data structures, and systems programming
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders on software frameworks
• Experience with software performance, optimization, and profiling
• Experience with concurrency and determinism
