About the Role
You will clarify requirements with cross-functional partners and translate them into software features. You will design, implement, and maintain C++ robotics components and develop Python, Java, or JavaScript components for AI labeling and cloud backends. You will improve system performance, review code, support automated testing, and troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field
- Strong modern C++ skills and proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Linux development, kernel-level knowledge, system programming, and networking experience
- 5+ years of industrial C++ software development experience
- Experience building product-level scalable systems
- Object-oriented programming and design pattern proficiency
- Software development lifecycle knowledge
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, unit testing, and automation testing
- Willingness to work on-site in Santa Monica or Malibu, California
Responsibilities
- Clarify and finalize requirements with cross-functional teams
- Translate requirements into software components, features, and enhancements
