About the Role
You will lead the architecture, design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure. You will define cybersecurity requirements, design secure network topologies and server rooms, develop ATO documentation and base media solutions, establish standards, and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field
- 8+ years of platform engineering, cybersecurity, network engineering, or architecture experience
- Expertise in cybersecurity concepts, models, and methods
- Hands-on networking hardware experience
- Experience designing and managing server rooms
- Working knowledge of containers and cloud infrastructure security
- Understanding of DoD cybersecurity infrastructure
- Experience in network engineering or base media development for UAV C2 systems or similar applications
Responsibilities
- Define and implement cybersecurity requirements in system architecture
- Define and enforce network security architecture
- Develop installation and configuration documentation for Authorizations to Operate
- Design and optimize secure network topologies, including segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, and zero-trust models
- Design and oversee high-availability server room infrastructure
- Develop base media solutions to mitigate cyber risks
- Implement threat detection, mitigation, and incident-response strategies with cybersecurity teams
- Evaluate network and hardware technologies, vendors, and solutions
- Develop network standards, documentation, and architectural roadmaps
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance through proactive design and monitoring
- Resolve complex network and infrastructure issues
- Lead enterprise network infrastructure architecture, design, and deployment
