About the Role
You will own flight control actuation system requirements and verification traceability. You will design and analyze actuator systems, coordinate control-law, power, thermal, and structural interfaces, execute qualification testing, and lead design-maturity and qualification reviews through key program milestones.
Requirements
- 8 to 15 years of flight control actuation system design experience on fixed-wing aircraft
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline

- Define, allocate, and own flight control actuation system requirements and verification traceability
- Design and analyze control-surface actuation systems
- Drive control-law and actuator interface integration
- Drive actuator power-source architecture, load analysis, and thermal integration
- Coordinate control-surface hinge moments and actuator reaction loads with structures
- Define and execute qualification test plans
- Lead design-maturity and qualification-status reviews at SRR, PDR, and CDR
