About the Role
You will design, integrate, and test avionics and control components for aircraft and test laboratories. You will perform system-integration analysis, create CAD and fabrication documentation, and support component, system-development, and certification testing.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
- 5+ years of technical work experience
- Advanced modeling experience with SolidWorks, Catia, OnShape, Fusion360, or Creo
- Experience taking designs from concept through detailed design, build, and test
- Experience leading mechanism design, controls design, environmental analysis, or structural analysis
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Design, integrate, and test avionics and control components
- Perform design and analysis tasks for system integration
- Provide CAD work and apply GD&T best practices
- Support component, system-development, and certification testing
- Create test plans, analyze data, and generate test reports
- Prepare mechanical design and fabrication drawings
- Travel to support aircraft and system integration and testing
