About the Role
You will design electro-mechanical avionics solutions for packaging, electrical interconnects, thermal management, and aircraft integration. You will perform structural, thermal, and modal analyses; ensure compliance with relevant safety and environmental standards; and own designs through validation, failure analysis, and flight-test readiness.
Requirements
- B.S. and/or M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 10+ years of aerospace mechanical and electrical equipment design experience
- CAD expertise with NX, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar software
- Familiarity with Altium, Cadence, Allegro, Capital, or Zuken
- Experience defining PCB constraints and mechanical interfaces with electrical engineers
- Experience with FEA, thermal analysis, and fatigue or lifecycle testing
Responsibilities
- Design electro-mechanical solutions for avionics packaging, electrical interconnects, thermal management, and aircraft integration
- Perform structural, preliminary thermal, and modal analyses for avionics
- Ensure avionics comply with performance, safety, environmental, and EMI/EMC standards
- Own designs from concept through validation, failure analysis, and flight-test readiness
