About the Role

You will support and manage environmental compliance activities for generating stations. You will collect and analyze environmental data, prepare permits and reports, maintain the environmental management system, conduct inspections and audits, and address corrective actions. You will provide compliance guidance and training, support permitting, track budgets, and work with stakeholders on regulatory issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an environmental, engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of environmental compliance experience
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and industrial compliance requirements
  • Experience with environmental permitting, reporting, monitoring, or waste management
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Valid driver's license or ability to meet business travel requirements

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permit conditions, and site obligations
  • Collect, verify, manage, and analyze environmental data
  • Prepare and maintain compliance reports, permits, inspections, and program documentation
  • Maintain the environmental management system and corrective-action tracking
  • Provide environmental compliance guidance, coaching, and training
  • Identify and communicate permit deviations, compliance trends, and regulatory concerns
  • Support permitting, rulemaking, regulatory-change, and impact-evaluation activities
  • Support environmental audits and address findings and corrective-action plans
  • Develop and track environmental budgets
  • Implement environmental compliance processes and data-management practices
