About the Role

Join Upvest's product engineering team to improve the reliability of its Investment API and design, build, and own fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable distributed systems using a microservice architecture.

Requirements

  • Experience with investment products or the fintech domain.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures, event streaming, and event sourcing systems.
  • Experience operating services in decoupled, event-driven systems using observability tools such as monitoring and tracing.

Responsibilities

  • Make an impact in a product team with broad ownership.
  • Work with Go as the primary language.
  • Improve the reliability of the Investment API.
  • Deliver frequently using an agile methodology with two-week retrospectives and demos.
  • Design, build, and own event-driven, fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable distributed systems.
  • Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and PostgreSQL in a microservice architecture.
